Jason pointed out a flaw (thus far) in the new Neutral Point Position thing I've been trying lately: I don't seem to be defending my weapon shoulder very much at all right now. This is partly because I'm still figuring out what I'm doing with my hand, so I'm sort of intentionally not reacting to some things.
Anyway, Jason said he thinks he can hit my front shoulder just about any time he wants to, as long as he gets my point moving in some direction that is not "up". Straight fleche.
In general tonight, I just didn't feel like I was seeing actions very clearly. I kept doing things at the wrong time, and I know I was being impatient sometimes. I don't know if the impatience was a result of not seeing things well, or I just felt like I wasn't seeing things well because I kept trying to do things at the wrong time.
This hasn't been a problem in recent sessions, but I've also been stressing the use of a clock during my bouts. I want to keep using a clock as much as possible, so I can keep working on staying patient.
